Condolence: ar Sugar Plum Fairy: A year has gone by? Oh my. I look back and realize something about any friends I have had throughout my life. They all possessed a wisdom about humanity, wielded snark and hilarity like a boss, but most of all shone inward with the brilliance of compassion. Mary overflowed with compassion and joy. She has been missed terribly and often, but I know every time I get a glimpse of her in my memories, I can't help grinning wide. You are so loved.

Condolence: I was very sad to read of Mary's passing. I have fond memories of Mary as a dedicated nurse, compassionate woman and wonderful baker. I remember how excited she was to open her shop, SugarPlums. I can recall her infectious smile and wit during times I met her during nursing home visits. May she rest in peace with her beloved family and friends who have gone before her. Ruth, I am so sorry for your loss! I will hold you close in prayer!

Condolence: My sincere condolences on your loss. A wonderfully encouraging promise made by Jesus at John 5:28,29 is that soon he will return our dead loved ones to us. At that time all sickness will be done away with. May that promise and the beautiful memories you have of Mary bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Condolence: My darling Mary how wonderful to finally see your picture. You are FABULOUS! To the Marinelli family my condolences for your loss. I have known Mary for four years as Sugar Plum Fairy, first at the Village Voice and later at the Underground Bunker. Yep - she made an impact there and was a much loved poster. Funny, abrupt, compassionate, wise and witty. But you know all of this. I have no idea about the 'beyond here' but I have no doubt Mary lived a full and loving life and will be missed, but celebrated.

Condolence: I am so very sorry for your great loss. Mary was so warm and witty, and amassed friends who shared so many different aspects of her life. It's fitting that one so sweet would share cookies and treats with others, too. I know Mary is with all the very special angels in Heaven right now.
