Andrew R. Halko
Age 74 of Smyrna
Andrew R. Halko passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 27, 2016.
He was born in Hazelton, PA on February 7 1942 and lived in Freeland, PA before moving to New Castle, DE.

After graduation Andrew went into a business franchise that grew and changed over the years starting in sales of tire related parts and equipment. His business later evolved into a manufacturing operation for tire/car related items. Andrew’s last business venture was owning and operating a hotel/restaurant/bar in Salinas, PR. Andrew was an entrepreneur in the truest sense and lived his life fully.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Stella G. Halko; brothers, Ben, Phillip, Jack; sister, Jeanette; and nephews, Ben Jr. and Ed Halko.

Andrew will be sadly missed his wife, Elaine; daughter, Andrea Halko-Roberts (Hayes); grandson, Hayden; and step grandchildren, Jack and Brooke. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen Gallagher (Mike) and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Andrew at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805 on Saturday, September 10 at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00-12:00 noon. Interment will be private.
