COVID - 19 UPDATE
We at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home are committed to serving the community and during these unprecedented times. We will remain vigilant in our mission.  In order to protect the health and well-being of the public and staff, Krienen-Griffith will act in accordance with all CDC, federal, state, and local guidelines. 
 
- We will be able to offer video recordings of your loved one’s funeral service held at both our Kirkwood Highway and New Castle  location. 
 
- All graveside services will be conducted in accordance with the individual cemetery regulations. 
 
- We are offering all at-need and pre-arrangement conferences to be conducted remotely via phone, email, or video call.  
 
- We encourage the planning of a memorial service once it is in the best interest of everyone’s safety. We will provide assistance in any way we can and at the time and place you choose.
 
- We remain available to you 24/7 for any questions or assistance you need.
 
We understand this is an incredibly trying time, and the uncertainty surrounding our daily lives is difficult to grasp. Over our 104 years of service to our local communities, Krienen-Griffith has strived to serve our families with the highest standards, and we will continue to do so throughout the COVID -19 pandemic.

FEMA Funeral Assistance

Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Congress authorized FEMA to provide up to $9,000 in financial assistance to individuals who incurred COVID-19-related funeral expenses after January 20, 2020.
