Bonnie L. Kane
Age 79 of Wilmington
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 19, 2024.
Bonnie was born in Wilmington to the late Carl M. and Mary Emma (Johnston) Dill. She was a proud 1963 graduate of Conrad High School. After graduation Bonnie went to work for Sears. In 1967 Bonnie married the love of her life, Joseph Kane. Together they spent many happy years raising their family. When her youngest child entered school, Bonnie returned to the work force. She was a dedicated employee of PostImpressons. Bonnie loved her work at the bindery working into her late 70s.
Bonnie lived a simple life. She loved to watch TV in her down time. Her favorite channels included the Game Show Network and Hallmark. She enjoyed shuffleboard and playing on her tablet. She was a fierce card player and loved playing all sorts of games. But most of all Bonnie loved her family.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kane, as well as many of her in-laws.
She will be dearly missed by her three daughters, Kimberly, Robin, and Lisa; her 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Marty (Linda) and Brian (Donna); brother-in-law, Thomas Kane (Linda); her sisters-in-law, Mary, Mary Ann, Paula, Pat, and Joanne; and her many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilm, DE 19805, on Friday, Feb 2 at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am-11:00 am. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Bonnie’s name to a charity of your choosing.
