Obituary for Britney Lynn Octavio
Britney Lynn Octavio born July 28th, 1994, age 27 of New Castle, DE passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022.
Britney had a sparkle in her eye that ignited when being around her family, especially her children. She loved her mom and dad with all her heart. Britney always found a way to give them special gifts that she knew would bring them joy and make them smile. Being thoughtful was one of her qualities that no one could top. When it came to spending time with family her grandma held a very special place in her heart. Britney knew if all else failed Grandma would pick up the pieces of her broken heart, and never let her down.
Britney also enjoyed beach trips, water parks, and going out to dinner. Baking, shopping, and eating fruit were some of her passions, but being around family is what made her happiest. Since she was little Britney enjoyed doing her make up, styling her hair to look her best and outdressing us all in her most stylish outfits to look and feel beautiful.
Britney will be dearly missed by all her family.
She is survived by her mother, Tammy Greenhawk; father, Joseph Octavio, Jr.; siblings, Carmin, Jacie, Jo-Jo, Bailey, and Joe III; her maternal grandmother, Lynn (Kevin) Hitchens; maternal grandfather, Gary (Ginger) Greenhawk; her children, Christopher, Anthony, Issey, and Gabriel; her aunts, Athena Greenhawk and Brenda Kibler; her nieces, Carmella, Carina, Capri, and Amora; her cousins, Jorden, James, Jesse, and Jewel; along with a host of other family members who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph Octavio, Sr. and Julie Waters.
Services will be held privately on Tuesday, July 12, 2022
