Edith Nancy McKeon
Age 75 of Aston, PA
Passed away peacefully yon Friday, February 3, 2023.
Nancy was born one of two children to the late James and Edith (Emsley) McKeon and was raised in Delaware County. In her teen years, she was a member of the singing group Sweet Adelines.
She spent career in broadcasting retiring as a supervisor at Cantar Media. When Nancy wasn’t working she spent every minute should could on the water. She loved boating, fishing, and crabbing on the Indian River and spent almost every summer of her life in Lower Delaware. Nancy also excelled in quilting, cross stitching, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank, and nephew, Michael.
She will be dearly missed by her nephews, Frank, Brian, and William; her sister-in-law, Margaret; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of life service for Nancy at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:00am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Nancy’s name to the American Cancer Society or Autism Society for America.
