Liz was born in Puerto Rico to the late Dolores and Dolores (Perez) Santiago. She moved to Brooklyn, NY with her family as a child. On March 12, 1987, Liz married her childhood sweetheart, Josue Tirado. Together they shared 36 happy years together. Liz was brilliant when it came to numbers. Liz was an avid reader. She loved books of all genres and magazines, especially, Reader’s Digest. She also enjoyed her Spanish Novelas that she watched for years. Liz was the best bargain shopper. She was able to always find the greatest deals at her favorite stores, JCPenney’s and Boscov’s. But most of all Liz loved her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by her sister, Carmen Santiago, and grandchildren, Reinaldo Ayala, Kayliene Ayala, and Crystal Nicole Ayala.
