Obituary for Elwood E Church (Woodeye)
Elwood Eugene Church "Woodeye" age 70 passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 16th, 2021.
He served in the Army and Reserves from 1968-1974 receiving an Honorable discharge. He was awarded with The National Defense Service medal. He was an accomplished guitarist and part of a band in his younger years. He was a graduate of Culinary School, he completed Harley Davidson Mechanical School as a certified mechanic. He enjoyed working on HD motorcycles and riding his Harley “Blue”. Elwood was a member of the Pagan's Motorcycle Club for many years. He was also a history buff and a train enthusiast.
Elwood is preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Harry Dreyer, his son Lil Woody and his Nephews Kenny, Dennis and Steven. Other family members and friends.
Elwood is survived by his son Nazareth, his companion Adelyn, his siblings Sarah, Marie, Linda, David, Garry, Robert and his step sister Mary. Also survived by his Uncle El and Aunt Barb, Uncle Doug and Aunt Edna, his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous Bros and friends.
Services were held privately. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
