Obituary for Eugene Perillo
Mr. Eugene Perillo, 86, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021 while under hospice care at Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital in Delaware.
Mr. Perillo was born July 1, 1934 to Mary Kelly and Nicolas Perillo and he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dr. Neil Spector and 14 siblings.
He is survived by his adoring daughters, Donna D’Onofrio and his son-in-law, Richard D’Onofrio of Middletown, DE; Denise Spector of Chapel Hill, NC; and his loving grandchildren, Nicholas D’Onofrio of Jacksonville, FL, Lea Williams of Newark, DE and Celeste Spector of Chapel Hill, NC; as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Eugene was a devoted father and grandfather who always made time for family dinners, celebrations and vacations together. He was an incredibly fun-loving, kind and generous man and was often thought of as “the life and soul of the party”. He especially loved bringing joy through singing and dancing during family gatherings. He will be dearly missed by many.
