Obituary for Florence Gail Joska (Abel)
Passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Florence was born in Wildwood, New Jersey to the late Roy and Hilda (Ingersoll) Abel. She was a 1954 graduate of William Penn High School.
Florence loved cheering on her favorite team the Philadelphia Flyers. She was an animal lover, especially her cats, Trouble and Princess. Florence enjoyed trips to the mall and beach with her family. Her favorite pastime was watching movies and TV. Florence was an avid Star Wars fan and never missed an episode of the Price is Right. But most of all Florence loved her family. She was an exceptional and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her still born daughter, Roberta Joska.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 52 years, Robert Joska; her daughters, Justine Gail Joska and Donna Marie Lee and her husband, Ronald; her grandchildren, Johnny Brenner (Kelli) and Shania Flowers; and her great granddaughter, Luci Brenner. Florence is also survived by her niece, Mary Powell; and nephews, Al Thompson (Linda) and George Hollis (Cheryl) as well as a large and loving extended family.
