Obituary for Frank W McKeon
Frank McKeon, 71, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2021, surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Chester, PA, grew up in Aston, PA and went to Sun Valley High.
Professionally Frank was a truck driver for over 50 years. He was a member of Masonic Jefferson Lodge #15 and former member of Green Ridge Fire Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edith McKeon of Aston, PA and his son, Michael McKeon of Wilmington, DE.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Margaret McKeon (Bonhage) of Wilmington, DE, his 3 sons and their families, Frank McKeon, and his sons, Ryan and Charley (Pike Creek, DE); Brian & Lindsey McKeon and their daughters, Reese and Isla (Charlotte, NC); and Bill and Kelly McKeon and their children, Aiden, Payton and Morgan (Lewes, DE). Frank is also survived by his sister Nancy McKeon of Aston, PA.
Frank will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved dog, Riley.
Relatives and friends are invited to a service on Monday, November 29 at 11:00 am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. Wilmington 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Autism Delaware, 928 Old Harmony Rd, Newark, DE 19713.
