Died peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 17, 2011.

Gerta worked for many years as a cashier for the Imperial Deli. She was a lifelong homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Gerta was an avid gardener. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, and loved her coffee.
She is survived by her daughter, Irmtraud Prantl; her sons, Albert Dutch Lindsay, John Lindsay and his companion Darlene; her beloved grandchildren, Ronny, Manuela, Michael, Eyren, Hannah, and Austin; great grandchildren, Sascha, Jessie, Carrie, and Samantha; great great grandchildren, Kendra, Cheyenne, Finya, and Max; and her dog, Lucky.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear on Monday morning, May 23, 2011, at 10 a.m. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
