Obituary for Jacqueline Winebrenner (Merrbach)

Jacqueline Winebrenner passed away peacefully on July 3, 2022.

She was born May 18,1934 in Akron, OH to John Godfrey and Elizabeth “Bessie” Merrbach.

She attended German Reformed Lutheran Church and was educated in Cumberland, Md,
Graduating from Fort Hill High School 1954, then proceeded to Nurses training.

Jacqueline married Ronald W. Winebrenner on August 20,1959.

One of a kind, classy when she wanted to be, fearless when she needed to be, a woman ahead of her
time. She was always learning new crafts, recipes, her favorite gardening with her “green thumb”. In the
late 60’s she went back to technical school and learned data processing with the early punch cards,
which would lead to the computer age. Her favorite past time was going to the beach and taking a drive
usually to see a family member. Her greatest love was her family, and the various pets she had through
the years, her favorites Honey (1st), Duchess, Kip, Damion, Midnight. She would have various careers
through the years with the last as Program manager for the Maryland Council for crippled children and
adults. She was a member of the Women of the Moose through 2004.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Ronald (1978); granddaughter, Destiny Mangini; sister, Mary Joan Dockeny (2012) and nephew, James Breeden.

She is survived by her twin sister, Patricia Breeden; daughter, Amber, Lohr; grandchildren, Dale Harmison Jr, Valorie Lohr, Jeremiah Lohr; great-grandchildren, Marissa Sansone, Brianna Stradling-Harmison, Cassidy Foskey, Aiden Barnett, and Cameron Lohr. Nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Hetzer, Paul McDonald, Robin Wilson, Margaret Ammerman, Cynthia Markley, Linda Bonnette, John Breeden and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in her honor can be made to your local SPCA, animal shelter, Red Cross,
Salvation Army, or local charity for those in need, that’s what she would do.

Services will be held at later date at Hillcrest Burial Park, Cumberland, MD.
