Obituary for Jeffrey Talley Jr.
Jeffrey Talley, Jr passed away on February 5, 2022.
Jeffrey was a student at St. John the Beloved School from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Following middle school, he entered Salesianum High School, eventually transferring to McKean High School.
Jeffrey was funny, smarty, kind, generous and selfless. He was truly an all-around awesome kid. He was the most loving son a parent could ask for. He wouldn’t let a day go by without checking in to see how we were doing. He was a devoted brother, friend, and cousin who always looked out for everyone and wanted them to be happy. He went to great lengths to get anyone to smile and laugh, especially with his notorious dance moves. If you were in his circle, you knew he had your back. He would be there no matter what, making sure you were taken care of. He cherished his loved ones deeply.
Jeffrey shared many special moments with those closest to him. He loved basketball whether playing on the court or cheering the loudest in the stands for friends. He frequented Del Rec and was a loyal Walgreens customer. Between trips with his friends and cousins, they most definitely kept Takis in business. Any time spent with those he cared for brought him joy.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Cristy Talley; his sister, Catherine Talley; his cousins; his aunts and uncles and his close friends.
We were all incredibly blessed and lucky to have been loved by him.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing for Jeffrey on Thursday, February 10, at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 11 at St. John the Beloved R.C. Church, 907 Milltown Road. at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery following Mass.
