JOSEPH DANIEL “DANNY” MEREDITH
Joseph Daniel “Danny” Meredith, age 31, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2020.
Born in Newark, DE, he was the son of Joseph A. Meredith, Jr. of Wilmington, DE, and Denise Quinn of Newark, DE. He worked as an HVAC mechanic with Meredith Heating and Air Conditioning for 13 years. Danny had a love of music (especially Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, Metallica, and ICP), playing video games (The Legend of Zelda series was his favorite), watching horror movies, going fishing, reading (especially the Harry Potter book series and all sorts of comics like DC and Marvel), growing his own garden in the backyard, and feasting on his favorite Chinese food (shrimp and broccoli), but let’s not forget Taco Bell and Joe’s Crab Shack! He had a love for all kinds of animals, but he absolutely adored is loving cat, Zelda bean. But, more than anything, Danny loved spending quality time with his father and brother, Jacob. He was a very kind-hearted person and would do just about anything for anyone.
In addition to his parents, he will be dearly missed by his brothers, Jacob Meredith, Tommy Singer, and Tyler Singer; his paternal grandparents, Joseph A. Meredith, Sr. and Betty A. Meredith, and his maternal grandmother, Cindy Walker; his aunts and uncles, John Meredith, Betty and Tom Tarburton, Chuck and Colleen Meredith, Candi and Rob Melton, Joey Stevens, Jeffrey and Crystal Stevens and a host of other close family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on January 14, 2020, at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere, Wilmington, DE 19805 at 7:30 P.M. A viewing will take place at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
