Age 74 of Wilmington
Joey passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2019.
He was a hard working employee of the City of Wilmington Parks Department. Joey proudly retired after 30 years of dedicated service.
He enjoyed many things including Wii Bowling, word searches , and special outings to all the local casinos. Joey most especially enjoyed his time spent at the Absalom Jones Senior Center.
He was preceded in death by his aunts, Virginia Grella, Annette Davis, and Elsie McNutt, who were his loving care takers for many years.
Joey will be dearly missed by his siblings, Frank Romano and his wife, Fran, Mickey Romano, David Romano of Tennessee, and Joanne Guthrie, and her husband Doug. He is also survived by a large extended family.
All services for Joey will be private.
