Obituary for Kevin Finucan
Kevin Finucan, 55, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2022 surrounded by family.
Kevin was a very talented carpenter, however in 2018 he started his own business power washing houses.
When not working, Kevin loved spending time with his family, playing with his puppy Maggie, traveling, and watching sports, especially the Yankees, Dolphins and Notre Dame football. Kevin also had an interest in antique toys and had quite a collection.
Kevin was a very spiritual person and loved the Lord. He was a member of Elsmere Presbyterian Church. He was an Elder in the church and was the chairman of the Building and Grounds committee.
Kevin is survived by his wife of 2 years, Raynell Finucan; his children Tabitha Finucan-Pacheco (Jose), Stephanie Richmond and Kevin Finucan; his stepsons Ian Hoffman (Nichole) and Alexander Hoffman (Courtney); his granddaughters Hunnie and Harmony Vreeland and his step-grandchildren Liam and Adeline Hoffman. His parents John and Cheryl Finucan; siblings John Finucan (Arlene), Kathleen O’Connor (Michael), Kimberly Finucan, Daniel Finucan (Christina). His nieces and nephews John Finucan (Amanda), Brian Finucan, Jessica Finucan, Casey O’Connor, Joseph Stroud, Autumn Stroud, Hope Finucan, great-nephew Mason Fitzgerald and great-niece Keira Finucan.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at Elsmere Presbyterian Church, 606 New Road, Wilmington, DE 19805 followed by a funeral service at noon.
