P. Kevin Kilroy, Age 67, of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2021. Kevin was an adoring father, devoted husband, caring uncle, and loving friend.
Born in North East, Maryland to a modest upbringing, Kevin developed unparalleled drive and became a successful business executive and private equity leader in the tech industry.
Kevin’s career was undoubtedly impressive, but his generosity and grace for others were the foundations of his character, and how he will be remembered most.
Kevin’s greatest joys were simple – spending time fishing and boating, listening to oldies, reading a good book, and sharing meals with family and friends.
Always happiest near the water, Kevin found a peaceful place in the countryside, and together with his wife built a house that everyone could call home. Whether a birthday, holiday, or Sunday afternoon, the Farm instilled Kevin’s principal set of values: that life should be celebrated, and family treasured.
Above all things, Kevin exuded respect for each person he met. From the waitress at his local breakfast spot to the CEO of an enormous business, he knew them all by name. Kevin’s loyalty was unfaltering. If you were a friend, he considered you family–– and to Kevin, family was lifelong.
His generosity, laugh, wit, and pride in his Irish heritage will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Renée (Antonio) of Chesapeake City, MD; daughter, Alexa of Austin, TX; brother, Brian (Sylvia) of Landenberg, PA; sister, Lauren (Jim) Masseron of Abingdon, MD; and his step-dad, Louis W. White of Havre de Grace, MD; as well as dozens of cousins, nieces and nephews, who he adored.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Jane McKinless White.
