Obituary for Logan Dante Benedetto

Logan Dante Benedetto age 21, sadly passed away on July 21, 2023 at Crozer-Chester Medical Burn Center.
Born on January 11, 2002 to Deena Brown and the late Brad Benedetto.
Logan attended St. Elizabeth High School and graduated from A.I. DuPont High School in 2020.
He was employed at Carmen Ford where he was recently promoted to a Customer Service Representative
Logan was an avid and accomplished Ice Hockey player, playing goalie for the Delco Dragons, The Pond Penguins, Sniper Hockey, The Delaware Ducks, The Junior Blue Hens and the A.I. Dupont Tigers. He also played goalie for the St E’s Viking Lacrosse team. Logan shared the same love with his father for Ice Hockey, fishing and ice skating.
Logan liked gaming and disc golf. He also loved to Jet ski and traveling to Florida with his mom and family.
Logan had a smile that would light up an entire room, His friends and family will miss his infectious laugh and quick wit. He had a caring and loving spirit, showing compassion and kindness for everyone he met. He was always surrounded by his loved ones. Lo will forever be remembered for being the BEST listener and for his ability to make everyone laugh. He will remain forever in our hearts. Logan’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
Logan is survived by his mother Deena Brown; his step-mother Lauren Benedetto; brothers Tomas Brown and Bradley Benedetto Jr.; sisters Lexi Benedetto and Gabby Haws; Grandparents Maureen and Gary Waritz; Dan Benedetto and Peggy; and Nancy Williams. Great grandmother Betty Bradley. He was predeceased by his father Brad Benedetto and step-father Ryan Gsell; grandparents Harold and Joanne Brown, Michael Williams; Uncles Nick and Alex Brown; and Aunt Heather Bright.
Logan is also survived by his High School sweetheart Abbey Rhoads and her family. His aunts and uncles Kathleen Waritz (James), Kimberly Willis (Tyler), Jennifer McFarland (Dan), Christopher (Jillian), Matthew (Melissa) Benedetto, Anthony Bright, God-mother’s Kelley (Gabe) and Erin Bradley, cousins John, Nick, Angelina, Megan, Trevor, Anthony, Dominic, Aiden, Giada, Julian, Autumn, Ava, Dominic, Lily, John, Teddy, and Rose: Friends Chris, Justin, Brunick, Fran, Morgan, Sean and Jade.
The Families would like to cordially extend an invitation to join our family in celebrating Logan’s life. A visitation will be held at Krienen-Griffeth Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway Elsmere, Delaware 19805 on Monday July 31, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00pm with a service to follow. Interment will be private.
