Obituary for Mary K Rozenko (Krupa)

Mary Krupa Rozenko, 63, of Elsmere, formerly of Richardson Park passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on December 6.

Mary attended St. Matthew’s Grade School and Conrad High School Class of 1976. She then went on to become a secretary for many years under Madison Fund, Cadillac, and Traditional Floors. Mary then spent her years caring for her two daughters, Michelle and Kelly. She was an avid volunteer at St. Anthony’s Italian Festival for over 20 years and volunteered her time as well to St. Anthony’s cafeteria when her girls were in school.

Mary loved her girl’s night out and taking trips to the beach. She loved her wine and going to various wineries as well.

Her greatest joy was not only being a mother but becoming a Mimi. Stella was her world and brought so much happiness to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Blanche (Bieniewski) and Boleslaw “William” Krupa, her brother and sister-in-law William “Bill” and Kathy (Kane) Krupa, brother-in-law Bill Robelen, and various aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael, her two daughters Michelle (Austin) Kisner and Kelly (Jared) Payton, her granddaughter Stella Kisner, her brother, David Krupa, her three sisters Carolyn Robelen, Peggy (Allen) Shepherd, Gerry (Ken) Creasey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give their deepest gratitude to Wilmington Hospital for their exceptional care towards our wife and mother.

Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 12pm Thursday, December 16th at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Ninth and DuPont streets. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude, which was Mary’s favorite charity
