Mary Ann Broomall
Age 74 of Wilmington
Passed away April 15, 2024 with her family by her side.
MaryAnn was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. She attended Christina High School and was a proud member of the 1968 graduating class.
She worked for several years at the Avon and DuPont Companies in their manufacturing departments, but her true calling was being a mother and grandmother. Her favorite pastime was spoiling her grandchildren. MaryAnn’s energetic and fiery personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Broomall and her brothers, Harry, Alfred, and Jimmy.
MaryAnn will be dearly missed by her children, Michael Tomlinson (Deanna), Christopher Tomlinson (Amber), and Melissa Quijada (Teoscar); her devoted grandchildren, Jacob, Ana, Nickolas, Karliegh, Nisa, Nigel, Lena Mae, Beatriz, and Layla; and her 1 great grandchild with 3 on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Broomall (Jenny); many loving nieces and nephews; and her dear friends, Debbie, Wendy, and Patty.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service for MaryAnn on Wednesday, April 24 at 12pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11am-12pm. interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
