Obituary for Michael A. "Mike" Earl
Michael A. Earl “Mike” age 75 passed away on January 17, 2022.
Michael was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on November 13, 1946. He was a 1965 graduate of William Penn High School where he lettered in basketball and baseball.
Following high school, Michael joined the United States Army. Upon returning from home, Michael went on to work for the United States Postal Service for 40 years where he was a representative and life member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. Michael was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization, where he spent time doing community volunteer work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. and Rita B. Earl (nee Maloney).
Michael is survived by is sister, Patricia E. Earl and brother, Kevin P. Earl.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on Tuesday, January 25 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805.
