Obituary for Pamela L. Andreavich

Pamela Andreavich, age 58, passed away on May 2, 2022 at Christiana hospital with her mother and family by her side.
Pam was born and raised in New Castle, DE., and was a graduate of William Penn High School, class of 1981. After high school, Pam attended Goldey Beacom College where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She went on to work at the Bank of Delaware and Applied Card Systems while continuing her education and getting her Masters Degree in education. She then went on to spend the rest of her career as a teacher at MOT Charter Middle School, where she taught English, and MOT Charter High School, where she taught business and marketing.
Pam was continuing her education in a program for her doctorate in education where she was a member of the National Honors Society. Pam was a long time Odyssey of the Mind coach and was heavily involved in the theater program at MOT Charter High School.
She enjoyed taking trips to New York to enjoy Broadway shows with friends and family. She also enjoyed trips to Walt Disney World and was a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Andreavich and her, sister Lori Cook.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Andreavich; her nephew, Tommy Cook (Nicole Stecca); her niece, Morgan Cook; her brother-in-law, Tom Cook; her aunts, Mary Shores, Sandy Hill and Barbara Hill; her uncle, Jim Hill; cousins, Anne Smith (Craig) and their children, Ashley Smith, Jaime Smith (Annie MacLaren) and Caitlyn Smith (Oscar Vasquez) as well as cousins, Ralph Hill and Donna Hill and their children.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Pam will be held at Krienen Funeral Home, 101 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE on Saturday, May 14 from 11:00-12:00pm. Interment will be private.
