Patrick Linton Miller

Age 62

Ocean City Md – It's with heavy hearts that we must say goodbye to our loving brother Cap't Pat Miller.

Patrick was born on July 2, 1962 in New Castle, Delaware to loving parents Robert L. Miller Sr and Patricia S. Miller.

He began his maritime career by obtaining a commercial crabbers license in Maryland. Patrick has always been an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many hours with his best friend (and father) Robert L Miller Sr., in the woods or on a boat. Patrick was also a volunteer firefighter for the Goodwill Fire Company, Station 18, New Castle DE.

In 1998 he continued his Maritime career with employment with Wilmington Tug, as a deck hand. In May 2000, he worked his way to become a tug boat Captain. In 2010, he obtained his master's license. He retired from Wilmington Tug as a tug boat Captain in April 2024.

Patick relocated to Ocean City, MD spending many hours with good friends enjoying the scenic area and all the great seafood it had to offer. Patrick was a regular at his favorite restaurant, Crab Alley.

He is survived by his siblings, Robert L Miller Jr (Leigh), Michele A Karpovich and Timothy A Miller; his loving nieces and nephews, Robert L Miller III (Shannon) Ann Marie Miller, Jessica Karpovich, John Karpovich III, grandniece Maddy Miller and Gretchen DeMonic, the love of his life and friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of life service for Patrick at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home 101 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE 19720, on Tuesday, Mar 4 at 11:00am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment will take place at Glebe Cemetery.
