Obituary for Pedro Figueroa Ortega
Pedro Figueroa Ortega, age 78, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Christiana Hospital.
He was born on June 29, 1942 to the late Guillermo and Dolores (Ortega) Figueroa.
Pedro worked for Christiana Hospital for 25 years before retiring. Once retired, Pedro was able to spend time working on his home, which was one of his most treasured activities.
In addition to his parents, Pedro was preceded in death by his sons, Pedro Figueroa Jr., and Rene Caraballo; and his brothers, Rafael Figueroa, Jose D. Figueroa, Angel L. Figueroa, Jorge Figueroa, Domingo Figueroa, Eugenio Rivera, Ramon Marrero, Guillermo Figueroa and Gregorio Figueroa.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Perfidia Caraballo; daughters, Marisol Figueroa, Carmen Caraballo; and his son, Reynaldo Caraballo; grandchildren, Martin Perez Jr., Kassandra Perez, Rene, Paulita, Jose, Javier, Reyna, Micaeila, Natasha, Reynaldo; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Whitmer. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Jose A. Figueroa, Ana L. Muñiz, Amado Figueroa, Dominga Rodriguez, William Figueroa, Sindia Figueroa, Juana Marrero, Carmen Maria Figueroa, Victor Figueroa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service for Pedro on Thursday, April 15 at 12:00 pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. Wilmington, DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-12. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
