Passed away peacefully on April 30, 2015 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 1, 1948, Ricky was the beloved son of the late Richard and Doris (Moffitt) Rigler.

Ricky had a lifelong fondness for music and loved to dance. You could often find him at the Superfresh stocking the shelves or enjoying time with his "buddies" at the local service station. Ricky always looked forward to his Saturday outings for his haircuts with Joe, Dee, and Rich at The Men's Room and his trips to Booth's Corner. He was a great caregiver to his beloved dog, Charlie.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish in his memory his sisters, Mary Delaney (Ken) and Nancy Williams (Michael); his nieces, Jennifer McFarland (Dan), Heather Bright (Anthony), Christina Walker (Jason), Ashley Delaney, Lauren Benedetto, Kenny Delaney (Jenn); many great nieces and nephews; and his extended family Jack and Vera Weaver.

The family would like to thank the staff of Christiana Care-Wilmington, Seasons Hospice, and The Brackenville Center for the exceptional care and love that they provided to our beloved brother.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2220 North duPont Highway, New Castle, on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00 am. Friends may call at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
