Following his time in the service he had a long career at Westinghouse, as well as Septa where he met his wife, Jacqueline. Richard had a love for horses and participated with the Buffalo Soldiers.

Driggins; his brother, Christopher Driggins; his step-children, Carl Scott, Thomas R Cossom, Robert L Cossom, Steven I Cossom, Luchiea A Cossom; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and his aunt, Beulah Dale Wallace. As well as brothers and sisters in law; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service on Saturday, July 18 at 3:00pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. Wilmington, DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-3pm.

**I can say that Richard was a close friend who I could always talk too, we would share stories of our time in the service and life issues. We would spend most everyday talking or riding on my daily runs at work. Most people thought he was a government employee because we were always together. I am going to miss my buddy for now, but I take great delight in knowing that we will meet again as children of God.**
