Obituary for Robin Cannon

Robin Cannon
Age 65 of New Castle
Passed away on December 30, 2020 from Covid-19.
Rob was born and raised in New Castle, DE and was a proud 1973 graduate of William Penn High School. He was a dedicated employee of Tastykake for over 30 years. He was truly hardworking and he made many lasting friendships along his Tastykake route.
Rob loved being outside with his family and friends, especially hunting, crabbing, and boating. He was Elvis Presley’s biggest fan and his family will never forget his shower singing. Rob greatly enjoyed traveling, especially his trip to Alaska and a two-week road trip across the country. Robin was most known for his selflessness; he would always put others before himself. He would do whatever he could to lend someone a helping hand. He was a family man through and through and everyone will greatly miss his kind smile and big hugs. Robin lived a full life and shared many happy moments with his family that they will cherish for a lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Cannon, and his grandson, Robert Johnson.
Robin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Cannon; his children, Amy Cannon, of New Castle, Stacy Cannon, of Newark, Mandy Cannon, of Bear, David Tuohey of Middletown, Tom Deptula (Ale) of Lewes, and Leanne Deptula of New Castle; his 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Linda Cannon, and brother, Bill Cannon, both of New Castle.
