Rose Marie Turner

Age 67, died on Tues., Dec. 11, at St. Francis Hospital.

Rose was born in Wilmington on March 20, 1945, to John Francis and Rose Catherine (Morris) Connor. She was a lifelong member of St. Elizabeth Church, and graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in 1963.

She worked in the insurance industry at various firms, and for the past 17 years worked for Davis Insurance in Rockland, Delaware.

She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Joseph Roach and Joseph Kucharski; and sister-in-law, Barbara Turner.

Rose is survived by her husband, Jerry Turner who she married on October 8, 1966. She is also survived by her six children and their spouses, Patricia Panariello (Salvatore), Deborah Randolph (Danny), Rose Marie Turner, Gerald Turner, Jr. (Janet Dery), John Turner (Beth Gentry), and Christopher Turner; her sisters and their spouses, Joan Roach, Elaine Kucharski, Patricia Lano (Francis), Elizabeth Morgan (William); her brother John Connor, Jr.; her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer, Luke, and Christian Randolph, Connor and Nicholas Turner, and her one month old granddaughter, Molly Rose Turner; her “bonus” grandchildren, Sam and Juliana Panariello; her aunts, Florence Connor Pugliese and Mary Fagan Cloud; brother-in-law, Wayne Turner; and sister-in-law, Ann Silliman.

Visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth R. C. Church, Cedar & South Clayton Sts., Wilmington on Tues., Dec. 18, from 10:00-11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Elizabeth R. C. Church at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Delaware Veteran Memorial Cemetery.
