Alfred A. Connell Jr., age 77, of Wilmington DE, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at home. Al is survived by his former wife, Beverly K. Connell;his daughter, Joi A. Campbell and husband John; his son,
Alfred A Connell III and wife Deborah; his daughter, Jill M Connell and partner Beate Pohlig; his son, Michael T. Connell and fiancee Cheryl Paloni, and a host of grandchildren . Al was a firefighter for the Wilmington Fire Department, retiring in 1987 after 25 years. The family thanks Heartland Hospice for the care they provided to Al in his final days. Services will be private.
