Annabelle (Hamer) Witt
Loving wife, mother, grandmother died November 28, 2010, at the age of 83 with her family at her side. She was born in Hackensack, NJ, September 25, 1927 to Max and Anna Hamer.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years Carl H. Witt; sons, Carl H. Witt Jr. (Susan), Stephen C. Witt (Pamela), Jeffrey L. Witt (Anne), Eric Witt (Brenda); grandchildren, Kristel Cline, Megan Witt, Carrieann Witt, Jeffrey L. Witt Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime member of New Castle Presbyterian Church. Annabelle loved playing the piano & organ, traveling, reading, gardening, and crocheting. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She was always there for them. She was actively involved in their lives including participating in school functions and cheering them on at their sporting events. Her 3 granddaughters gave her special joy, as the girls she didn't have as the mother of four boys. We love you Mom. You will always be missed and never forgotten.
