Barbara W. Frick

Age 86 of Wilmington, DE

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 28, 2024.

Barbara was born to the late Walter and Audrey (Deakyne) Warren. She grew up in Wilmington and was a dedicated employee of the DuPont Company for 37 and a half years.

Barbara's greatest passions in life were her family and friends, her faith, traveling, and golf. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was long time member and volunteer at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Barbara loved to travel especially to Hilton Head, SC and many of her favorite times were spent on the golf courses of DuPont County Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Frick.

She will be dearly missed by her children, John Michael Frick (Michelle) and Kimberly Calvarese (Paul); her grandchildren, Thomas Drummond, Karma Drummond, Nicole Hobbs, Brittany Hobbs, and Wyatt Smith; and her great grandchildren, Dom, Isabella, Carter, and Landon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service for Barbara at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Tuesday, May 7 at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 am-12:00 noon. Interment will take place privately at Silverbrook Cemetery.
