Barbara A. Huber
"Buzz"

Age 70, after a long illness she passed away at home, in Elsmere, surrounded by her family on July 14, 2009.

Born in Wilmington, DE on October 17, 1938.

Barbara attended St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was a switchboard operator at Laird, Inc. and ICI America until 1993. She later worked part-time at Reybold Self Storage. She enjoyed traveling especially to Alaska, where she always said "once you see the beautiful mountains, they call you back".

Barbara was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Gagnon. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jay Gagnon and his wife Joyce. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Fred Huber Jr.; her sons, George Shell and his wife Terriann, and Jake Huber III and daughter-in-law Sandy Huber; her daughters, Eileen Hare, and Kathleen Reamer and her husband Bill; her brothers, Jack Gagnon and his wife Lillian, Don Gagnon and his wife Ruth, and Jerry Gagnon and his wife Marilyn.

Barbara loved spending time with her 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Denise and John Sund for their loving support and guidance.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Elsmere Volunteer Fire Co., Rambo Hall, Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Friday evening, July 17th at 7 p.m. Family will receive friends at the Hall from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday evening. A reception will follow the service.
