Barbara M. Lovins
Nee Beird
Age 75, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Seasons Hospice Unit at Christiana Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She worked at Maioranos Food Market in Belvedere and retired in 1998 after 50 years of service.
Barbara was an avid enthusiast of the Delaware Park Casino. She was devoted to her soap operas and her cat.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Hall Beird and Rose F. Fortugno. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Lovins and her fiancé, Michael Ruta; her sons, Robert James Lovins, and Michael Joseph Lovins; her grandchildren, Earl, Mike Jr., Anthony, Kori, and Rob; five great-grandchildren; and her brother, James Beird and his wife, Kathy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Beloved R.C. Church, 907 Milltown Rd., Wilmington on Friday morning, January 24, 2014, at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the church Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Newark.
