Barbara A. Mlynarski
Our mom went from our arms to God's arms. Barbara was born in Wilmington on September 6, 1935 and passed away on September 18, 2009 surrounded by her family.
She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family. Barbara especially loved spending time with her family, playing games, celebrating holidays and birthdays, eating crabs or just drinking coffee on the porch at her beach home in West Bay Park. Every fall she enjoyed surf fishing with her husband. She made every event special.
She held her family and friends dear to her heart and she was loved by all who knew her.
Barbara joins her dear husband, Stan; her parents, Andrew and Margaret Williamson; her sisters, Caroline and Frances; and her brother, Bud.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Susan Handlin, Sharon Mlynarski, Stanley Mlynarski and his wife Lynda, and Scott Mlynarski and his wife Gayle; four grandchildren, Corrine (Matt), Michael (Tina), Stacey (Johnny) and Samantha; five great grandchildren, who she adored, Noah, Kaia, Brenden, Mallory and Brianna. She is also survived by her brother, John Williamson and many nieces and nephews.
Our family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Delaware Hospice especially Nicolette, Kristina, Jean, Diane and Pastor David for their attentive and compassionate care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hedwig R. C. Church, Linden and Harrison Sts., Wilmington on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10 a.m.. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
