Age 79, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. She enjoyed gardening and reading. More than anything, she loved being a mom and thought that was the most important job she had.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Bertram, her sister, Phyllis Thomas, and her brother, Daniel Johnson.

Barbara is survived by her children, Terri Robinson (Jack), Cheryl Berry (Scott), Michael Scout (Karyn), and Jeannie Scout (Brian); her grandchildren, Richard, Jacob, Jessica, Melissa, Brandi, Bradly "Toby", Andrew, Abagail, Alexandra, Sarah, and Courtney; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sharon McCallum (Steve); and special niece, Renee Thomas.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Service on Tuesday, January 9, at 11:00 am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
