Betty H. Biscoe
Age 86, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2010 after a brief illness.
Betty was born one of seven children to Rhea and Herbert Lawrence on April 28, 1923. She prided herself on being a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Peniel Methodist Church (Newport, DE).
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Biscoe, Sr. in February 2009. She is survived by her sons, James Biscoe, Jr. his wife Deborah and their sons James and Jordan of Wilmington, DE, Gary Biscoe his wife Linda and their daughter Michele Meeks and her husband Dennis of Chestertown, MD, and Jeffrey Biscoe and his girlfriend Terri Butters-Parton of Elsmere, DE. She is also survived by her sisters, Rhea Birch of Wilmington, DE, and Marjorie Roe of Lewes, DE; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Thursday, January 7th at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Burial will be private.
