Betty P. Marcozzi
Age 70, passed away at Heartland Hospice House on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Betty was born in Jumping Branch, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Jake and Jessie (Meadows) Cox.
She worked as a cashier at A&P Supermarket for many years. She enjoyed spending time at the Delaware beaches, dining out, and collecting decorative elephants.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Marcozzi; her brothers, John, Sam, and Willard Ramsey; her sisters, Georgia Lee Rich, Gladys Swanson, and Hallie Vied.
She is survived by her son, Richard E. Marcozzi, II; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Service at Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th Street, New Castle, on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 12:00 noon. A viewing will take place at the funeral home prior to the Service from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Interment will be in the Glebe Cemetery, New Castle, DE.
