Bruce Watson Bock

Age 76 of Wilmington

Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Bruce was born and raised in New Castle. He was a proud graduate of William Penn. After graduation Bruce enlisted in the United States Navy, faithfully serving his country from 1968 to 1972. Bruce continued his schooling at both Widner University and Goldey Beacom College.

Upon returning home Bruce went to work at Mannington Mills where he served as a production manager, eventually retiring after many years of dedicated service.

Bruce enjoyed sports and was an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Phillies. Being a proud veteran himself, he took great pride in supporting various Military charities and causes. Bruce a was also a man of great faith and was an active member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church. He had a passion for photography and was happiest behind the camera. Bruce was always able to capture the most important events of his loved ones' lives.

Bruce will be dearly missed by his three sons, Christopher Bock (Shannon), Geoff Bock (Kristen), and Kevin Bock (Sara); his grandchildren, Lorelei, Cameron and Max; as well as his sister, Carol Mickewich (Dan).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday Jan 25 from 10am-11am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805. The celebration of life service will take place at 12 noon at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 627 Vance Neck Rd, Middletown, DE 19709. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Bruce's name to the Brian Conley Veterans Resiliency Center, 104 S. Broad ST., Middletown, DE 19709.
