Cameron "Sissy" Griner

Age 12, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Sissy was a happy girl, who loved singing and dancing in her chair to her favorite music. She had the most infectious laugh and touched everyone she met, and she always brought out the best in people. She loved spending time with her mom and sister, Madison. She was lucky to have her brother, Jeffrey, and her dad, Jeff. Sissy enjoyed spending time with her MomMom taking trips, swimming at her beach house, singing, playing music, and helping her crochet. Sissy loved spending special time with Pop Pop Jeff and listening to his stories and songs.

Sissy was a 6th grade student at H.B. duPont Middle School, and she attended the MeadoWood Program since she was five. She was lucky to have such an amazing therapy team and services, and she was always sure to hug her sister when she got off the bus.

Sissy is survived by her mother, Jenna Minsker; her father, Jeff Tuites; her sister, Madison Griner; her brother, Jeffrey Tuites; her maternal grandparents, Judy and Jim Hayslip,and Jeffrey Minsker; her great-grandparents, Barry Minsker and Mary Jane Anthony; and a large and loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Wednesday, July 18, at 12 noon at Christ United Methodist Church, 6 North Clifton Avenue, Wilmington. A viewing will take place at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Interment will take place in Townsend Cemetery, Caldwell Corner Road, Townsend, DE 19734.
