Carl R. Engelbert

Carl Engelbert lived a life of devotion. A devotion to running. A devotion to the Navy as a fighter pilot and later as an aeronautical engineer. If you were in his life, you were met with kindness and care, a goofy sense of humor, and a genuine curiosity to know more about you. If it was important to you, it was important to Carl. But anyone that knew Carl also knew that there was no greater devotion than to his family - to his five children, eight grandchildren, and most of all to his constant companion and wife of 47 years, Maureen. The loss is immense, and Carl will be missed by all who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass for Carl on Friday, May 17th, at 11:00am to 12:00pm at St Ann's Church at 2013 Gilpin Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806.
