Carl E. Smith
Of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the age of 61.
Carl retired from CSX Railroad. He was a lifetime member of the Diamond State VFW, Post 2863.
Carl was the son of the late Jesse Lee Smith. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Robin; his mother, Lydia Smith; and three brothers, Jesse, Robert, and David.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Burial Service at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Bear on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 11 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Monday evening, August 20, 2012 from 6-8 pm. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
