Carol Fioravanti
Age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
Carol was a graduate of Dickinson High School. She then went on to complete her studies at the Wilmington Beauty College.
She also was a nurse's aide at Parkview Nursing Home for many years.
Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and friends.
Carol was the daughter of the late Norman Stapleford and Gladys (Carson) Sansone. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Mark Stapleford; her beloved son, Daniel "DJ" Huffman; and her niece, Healther Sansone. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James L. Fioravanti; her children, Susie Huffman, Joseph L. Huffman and his wife Susan, Shannon R. Huffman; her stepchildren, Drew Fioravanti, Tony Fioravanti and his wife Kate, and Nicole Fioravanti; her beloved grandchildren, Angie, Jessie, Jack, Josh, and Luke; her sisters, Kathy DelGado and her husband O-bed, and Mary Quinn; and her brothers, Norman Stapleford and his wife Myrtle, Joseph Stapleford and his wife Wendy, John Sansone, James Sansone, Ricky Sansone and his wife Becky.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Monday evening, March 28th at 7 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment is private.
