Obituary
Carol passed away peacefully on December 23, 2018.
She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Joseph and Madeline Mahoney. Carol worked as a registered nurse in Delaware for many years before she retired early and stayed home to raise her 7 children.
Carol enjoyed reading, collecting dolls and Beanie Babies, and watching the Phillies. She most cherished the time she spent with her family, especially traveling to New York to Radio City Music Hall with her grandchildren to see the Rockettes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bedwell, Sr.; daughter, Carol Ann Bedwell; and granddaughter, Leigh Ann Bedwell.
Carol is survived by her children, Earl Bedwell, Jr., of New Castle, DE, Joseph Bedwell of Pennsylvania, John Bedwell of New Castle, DE., Lynn Bedwell of Philadelphia, PA, Madeline Bedwell Miller of Wilmington, DE, and Lisa Bedwell of DE.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, December 29, 2018 form 10-12 pm at Krienen Funeral Home, 101 West 6th St. New Castle, DE. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Carol's name to a charity of your choice.
