Carolyn M. Callahan, Age 63 passed away at home surrounded by love, on November 3, 2018, from a near 2-year battle with glioblastoma.

Carolyn was born on November 20, 1954 in Wilmington, DE. She worked her entire career for Astra Zeneca until her retirement. She went on to have a successful window dressing business with her husband, where they worked together until the arrival of her grandchildren. She was a skilled seamstress, quilter and avid RVer. She deeply enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Walt Disney World and numerous other locations around the country.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Tantzer; and her brother, Michael Kulesza.

She is survived by her husband, George Callahan; daughter, Claire Krajewski, and her husband, Jeff; son-in-law, Stephen Tantzer; grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia and Noah; as well as her mother, Irene Dempsey.

The Service for Carolyn will be held on Sunday, November 11 at 5:00 pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilm, DE. 19805. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4pm-5pm.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carolyn's life on Monday, Nov 12 from 3pm to 6pm at Iron Hill Brewery on the Wilmington Riverfront.
