Carolyn Fitzsimmons

Age 91 passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2018 with her son, Teddy and daughter, Sharon at her side.

Carolyn was born on September 26, 1926 to the late George and Carrie Gould. Her family was involved in open wheel dirt track racing and she enjoyed watching her son, grandson and granddaughter participate.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Elmer Fitzsimmons, her sisters, Lillian Millar and Vivian West.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Bonnie Kendus (Joe), Sharon Coyle (Jack), and Teddy Fitzsimmons (Barbie); 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Cassie Millar (John).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Thursday, July 12 at 11:00 am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11. Interment will take place in Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2220 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720.
