Catherine C. Cole passed away on Thursday, April 17 at Gilpin Hall.
Catherine was born and raised in Old New Castle. Catherine retired from the State of Delaware in 1985. Catherine was the last surviving of 10 brothers and sisters. She was a member of St. Matthew Church Blessed Mother Sodality. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida. Catherine was an avid reader. She was a lover of the arts and greatly enjoyed participating craft shows and painting pictures.
Catherine is preceded in death by her brothers and sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Mark C. Cole; her daughter Catherine (Cathy) O'Neill and her husband Vincent; her grandson, Wayne and his wife Elizabeth; and a host of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial at St. Matthew Church, 1 Fallon Ave, Wilmington, DE 19804 on Tuesday, April 22 at 11:30 am. Friends may call at the church from 10:00-11:30am. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway New Castle, DE 19720.
