Catherine L. Shultz (McLaughlin)
Age 82 passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018.

Cathy was born in Wilmington, DE to the late George C. and Anna M. Roberts. She held several jobs in the Wilmington area, retiring as a school secretary from the State of Delaware. Before her illness, Cathy enjoyed traveling the country with her husband in the motorhome and watching NASCAR. Her ultimate love was spending time with her grandchildren. She was also well known for her ability to embarrass her kids by 'calling the manager' and writing checks with her thousands and thousands of dollars.

Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, William F. McLaughlin Sr.; sons, Bill and Jerry McLaughlin; grandsons, Jeremy Kossek and Sean McLaughlin

She is survived by her husband, Jerold Shultz; her kids, Cyndi McLaughlin and Mike Thompson, Bernie and Donna McLaughlin, Cathy McLaughlin (Dave) and Patti Palandrani. She will be sorely missed by her number 1 pumpkin, Josh (Robyn) Kossek; granddaughters, Lauren Hess (Greg) and Morgan McLaughlin; grandsons, Jerry (Ashley) McLaughlin, Bobby Jumper (Madison); and her great-grandchildren, Eric, Lili, Colton and Baby M; as well as her sister, Renee Poe

The family would like to thank the staff at Regal Heights Healthcare for becoming her second family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Friday, July 6, at 11:00 am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11. Interment will be private.
