Charles William James Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday March 29th, 2025. (329).

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 24th, 1936, by the late Charles William James Sr. and Anne Amelia James.

After serving his country in the United States Navy, Charlie worked as an electrician before transitioning to a rewarding career working for Honeywell and Barber Colman in temperature control sales. He and his beloved Catherine Bridgette traveled the world, living in Dubai for many years as well as in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Charlie later returned to the States to retire where he spent most of his days enjoying time with family and friends. His favorite times were spent attending his grandchildren's baseball games, concerts, and swim meets.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Catherine Bridgette (Mannion), sons Michael (Nicole) and Brian (Andra), daughter Laura (Brad), grandchildren Evan, Ryan, Allison, Braden, Luke and Bennett, his sister Patricia Toronyi of Downingtown, PA, niece Tricia (Gene) Fuydal, and their 3 children, Kyle (Vanessa) their daughter Lilly, Jonathon (Rosario), and Tara (Tom).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Charlie's name to the Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

Interment will be private.
