Charles Daniel Reynolds Jr. "Butch"

Went to the Lord on April 4, 2012. He was born April 12, 1940 to Charles Daniel Sr. and Caroline Reynolds (Matteson). He passed away after a short battle of cancer.


He was a jockey for 25 plus years at Belmont, Delaware Park, Charlestown, and Penn National. After leaving that occupation, he went on to become a truck driver and auto mechanic until departing his life. He enjoyed playing cards and playing craps at Delaware Park.

Charles is survived by five children: Debra Reynolds and longtime boyfriend, Jerry Megginson of New Castle, DE , Donna Campbell and husband Ron of Palm Bay, FLA, Charles D. Reynolds 3rd of Newark, DE, William Reynolds of West Palm Beach, FLA and Dorothy Crowhorn and husband James of Port St Lucie, FLA. He had 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 7 sisters, 4 brothers and a dear friend, Eleanor.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Monday evening, April 9th from 6-8 pm. Friends may also gather at the Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel on Tuesday morning after 10 am. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
